What should you know about the start
The reason why is totally up to you. You could be motivated by not liking what you see in the mirror, or you could be totally heartbroken. Or maybe you are just searching for a new hobby?
You’re going to feel good and actually like going to the gym, and this is also how you build it up as a habit.
We also recommend going for your first time with a friend so they can guide you and ensure you don’t do anything dangerous. Remember, the gym is a positive community, so don’t be afraid to ask the big guys for help.
Don’t start researching the best workout or protein supplement before going to the gym. Get the basics down first. Go a couple of weeks, and you’ll automatically notice what’s best for you.
Also, don’t get lost searching for what’s best for you online. The key is to discover your personal preferences. For instance, you can easily get lost searching for supplements like pre-workout.

When will I see my progress?
You won’t see physical progress right away; it might even take a month to notice any changes. However, what you will instantly experience is mental progress because you’ve just accomplished something productive.
But what also will happen, is that you will come off as a more confident, productive person on the work floor, in school, or even in your family. They will notice you changed for the better.
Go once, and you’ll automatically feel good. Do you think there are any disadvantages to going to the gym?
Are there any disadvantages ?
If you perform an exercise incorrectly with too much weight, you could hurt yourself. That’s why it’s best to ask a friend with some experience to go with you.
In case you don’t have any friends that go to the gym, the gym actually is a positive community so feel free to ask the biggest dude his favorite exercise. And of course you could hire a coach.
What else should I know?
What we really recommend is that you take lots of pictures of your body and personal bests on cardio machines. This way, you can track your progress easily.
This will also be great to know how much you have improved, and it will also help because starting is actually the easy part. The hard part is consistency.
If you are struggling with the beginning of what you are doing, don’t be scared; everything will get better! You will be shocked by realizing what you can actually achieve very soon.
Good luck on your journey my friend!
